Lotto
6-49
Lotto 6/49 is one of Canada’s national lottery games. It was released in June 1982 and it became the first nationwide lottery game in Canada to allow players to select their own numbers. Up until then, national lottery games used pre-printed numbers on the tickets.
Draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets cost $2 per line and the minimum jackpot is $4,000,000. The game’s largest jackpot was $54.3 million and it was won by a single ticket purchased by a group of coworkers.
