Only six days after they said ‘I do’, Martin Adamson and wife Hannah had another important reason to celebrate: they scooped the National Lottery £1.5 million jackpot. Martin, who has been playing the same numbers for thirteen years, decided to change them after the wedding in order to include their wedding day.

“I saw the numbers come up on the television. I thought they looked familiar but went to check them online,” navy weapons engineer Adamson said. "I called up to Hannah who was in the bath at the time. She did not believe me when I said we had won the jackpot.”

Mr. Anderson also said that winning the lottery was the perfect end to their dreamy week. The couple, who will welcome their fist child in November, is planning on buying a house and go to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Also, they will share their new fortune with their families.

The winning numbers that made Mr. and Mrs. Anderson millionaires were: 4, 14, 18, 24, 32 and 40.
